Who's next? Take a guess!

We are standing in the middle of a circle of fire! After Palestine and Iraq.. Now it's Libanon's turn… maybe soon enough will come Syria too! After that, who knows!

I'm not much into Politics, and avoid going into this conversation. But we (that is, Middle East) have reached a very critical level of ignorance! We are watching how the blood of our brothers is being shed! how children become orphans and homeless! and how a part of the holy land is taken hostage… and we are divided between not giving a damn, or saying desperately that we can't do anything to change the situation… Saying this is not a cheerful thought!

People who, miraculously, survived bombings have lost their homes, their job (because it's destroyed), and literarily remained with nothing but the clothes one them! No one can help them, not even the Red Cross! Then why such organizations is established anyway?

It's just not fair that we are safe and sound in our homes while others are not anymore! Not that I want this to happen here too! No way! But we are only lucky, because it could've been the other way around!... I'm only lucky because my Family is not there! They could've very easily been in the wrong place at the wrong time!

To be frank, I don't know what's the right thing to do anymore? Is it right to fight fire with fire? Isn't it right that an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind? Is it right to stop fighting and drop weapon so that the enemy "leave us alone"? wouldn't that be considered submitting to the enemy? Wouldn't that be considered traitress for those martyrs? Whose fault is this? Who has the right to defend themselves? ...

I know one thing for sure, hundreds of thousands of millions of sand grains make a mountain that stands strongly in the storm. And some mountains are special! For they may stand silent for years, but they throw fire from their depth when you least expect it!

A friend of mine once quoted: "Do not count on hope. It is forsaken in these lands!"

I just (hope) he's wrong!
