Back!
Al Mamlakh tower....i forgot how many metres is its hight...but it's high!...and at night,it keeps changing colors. (images r taken from inside the car :)
Riyadh from up there..
Al Faysaliah tower...shorter than the fromer..but still nice!...both towers are only Malls and offices.
Malls are the only escape from being imprisoned in the house there...it gets boring after a while to keep going there...but there's no way to go anywhere out there, neither during day nor night!
my Favourite character in Madagascar :P ..My brothers and I used to stay up late (till 2:00 a.m) watching a kids movies or playing games or just stay and chat...
some images of the Camp..
i should practice on photographing.
i had Sushi there...
and won't do it again...its taste was a combination of sweet and a little salt with raw rice and something else!! exotic!...and it's unbelievable how much poeple eat there :P
the most un-practical habit there is that the whole country shuts down when it's time for prayer...some shops even kick the costumers out till they finish praying...ok it's nice to pray in time and everything..but there's no need for the whole country to close!!
A funny thing is that lots of things there are cheaper than here because they don't have sales tax (the 16%)..except BOOKS!...text books in particular are more expensive..and are older editions!

Welcome back ;)
I've never been in Riyadh, it seems nice. But on any given day I'll choose Jordan over KSA :)
I find it annoying how countries introduce tax on stuff they really shouldn't be making more difficult. If they want people to learn, text books need to be cheap, and in our cases, electronic parts need to be cheaper. They should encourage us to buy lots of it and do alot of experimenting. Jordan still needs to do that.
