A Chat!
Never, in the last 19 years of my life, have I liked to be with people of my generation. i always liked to be with older ones, to listen to them, coz they are the ones who understand how life is. I can listen and learn from their experience. So I witnessed an interesting chat today, a quite philosophical one, with two of my OLDER friends who I respect.
We discussed how, As a human grows older, his options become narrower. . how A person studies all the options around him, then chooses what he thinks suits him best! Why we always want what we don't have? What's the difference between ambition, greed and selfishness? When should we stop? Or, should we stop? I.e How one side of one's life can effect the other sides, i.e does family stand in the way of getting PHD or achieving ones dream? Should one ignore some parts in his life in order to reach his goal? Why do we become creative under pressure? Why do we consider doing smthg that has a deadline a stress, even though we enjoy doing it? I mean, it shouldn't be a stress if we enjoy it!! Why, In my case, the way I think now is shallower than when I was in high school (unlike all people, nothing unusual, story of my life!)..it really should be the opposite!
I learned that there are people who are SOOO ambitious, that they really want to know (who put the egg and what chicken-ed the chicken!! a saying well known here), some think that this is way too Nerd, but I don't think being This ambitious is wrong.. Actually I admire these people! We all have this inside us, the only difference is that it is encouraged in some of us more than the others. And i don't believe that some ppl are afraid to have brains, or shall i say ashamed!
What about Convention! How important is it? I can count the times i was convinced about achieving smthg on my fingers.
I've got to admit, Ever since my Family left, I've been a little odd! :P I think I'm now a perfect study item for applying what we now till now about human psychology :). Well, at least I have made a little space in my head to study Circuits, after discharging these thoughts here, I can explore them later :P
